Sarada Conaway is an artist that specializes in collaborative art processes. By adopting a role similar to a researcher or organizer, she is able to work with large self-selected populations. Her work usually exists in 2 parts: a non-tangible, conversational event, and a related photographic record. Sarada lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland. She is a frequent contributor to exhibitions in her region, and has also exhibited nationally and internationally. Sarada earned a BFA from the Tyler College of Art and an MFA from the University of Maryland. She is an assistant professor at the Community College of Baltimore County.
